What is the FITBI Project?
The Family-Implemented Treatment for Behavioral Inflexibility (FITBI) Project is a research study delivered via telehealth that provides caregiver coaching for inflexible or repetitive behaviors.
Over the span of 4 years, the FITBI Project will recruit 100 families of autistic children across the United States to participate.
Collaboration with Autistic Community Members
The FITBI Project’s Autistic Advisory Board members partner with the project team to provide neurodiverse perspectives, expert guidance, and stakeholder input.
The contributions of the Autistic Advisory Board members are invaluable to the FITBI Project and to Juniper Gardens Children’s Project as a whole.
