The FITBI Project

The FITBI Project and Participation

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Family-Implemented Treatment for Behavioral Inflexibility (FITBI) Project is a research study delivered via telehealth that provides caregiver coaching for inflexible or repetitive behaviors.

Over the span of 4 years, the FITBI Project will recruit 100 families of autistic children across the United States to participate. Each family is paired with a coach that will provide weekly, individualized support via telehealth.

PARTICIPATING IN THE FITBI PROJECT

Each eligible family that participates in the FITBI Project will receive free, individualized support from a trained coach. Each family will meet for weekly telehealth sessions with their coach and complete online surveys. Families will receive compensation for their participation in the study.
