Biography

Anna Wallisch, Ph.D., OTR/L, is an F32 Postdoctoral Researcher at the Juniper Gardens Children’s Project at the University of Kansas. She is an occupational therapist with 6 years of clinical experience supporting families with young children with autism, and she received her PhD in Therapeutic Science at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Wallisch’s research interests focus on the utilization of technology to increase access to intervention services for families. Dr. Wallisch has spent approximately 5 years on research projects investigating coaching via telehealth and using technology for measurement. Dr. Wallisch’s work has also focused on understanding parent concerns to support the early identification of children with disabilities. Last, Dr. Wallisch’s F32 Individual Postdoctoral Training grant focuses on examining the biobehavioral mechanisms of challenging eating behaviors in young children with autism spectrum disorder.
